CONSULTATION
THE SOONER, THE BETTER
Please complete the booking form with all the required details to get started. This will allow me to assess my availability for your wedding date and better understand your needs. I will contact you if I need more information or additional images to give you the best possible estimate.
Once you submit your form, I will contact you to send you a link to schedule your appointment. Just a friendly reminder—fittings are exclusively available on Wednesdays. A reservation fee of $100 is required to secure your appointment, which will be deducted from your total service cost. Please note that this fee is non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with my services. If you're a bride traveling to Utah from out of state, special scheduling accommodations may be available - please inquire.
INITIAL FITTING
6 to 8 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING
During this step, we meet at my studio to pin your gown and discuss your fit concerns and any modifications or customizations you wish to make. This allows us to create a vision that meets your expectations. As I carefully pin your gown, you will gain a clearer visual of the final silhouette.
It is essential to bring your wedding shoes and any undergarments, shapewear, or petticoats to each fitting, as these elements significantly influence the overall fit of your gown. Please order these items in advance to facilitate a seamless fitting experience.
Following our initial consultation, please be advised that payment for the estimated alterations is required in full before commencing any work. This policy is implemented to uphold a smooth and efficient process. For your reference, kindly consult the pricing list for details concerning potential alteration costs.
FOLLOW-UP FITTINGS
WHEN AND IF NEEDED
Additional follow-up fittings may be necessary depending on the extent of work needed for your gown. These fittings are designed to ensure your dress fits you perfectly and address any additional alterations that may be necessary. This is particularly relevant for brides requiring extensive sizing adjustments or significant customizations to the gown.
I prioritize the intricacies of each gown to deliver an impeccable fit. Each fitting is an opportunity to refine and enhance the elegance of your dress, allowing me to perfect every detail to your satisfaction. FINAL FITTING
2 TO 4 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING
During this final fitting, you can try on your gown a final time, ensuring that every detail reflects your vision of perfection. For this appointment, you are encouraged to bring one family member or a wedding party member. I will guide them on how to bustle your gown, ensuring you are confident and comfortable on your special day. They will receive comprehensive instructions on how to assist you in getting in and out of your gown, and they will have the opportunity to practice the dressing and bustling techniques. By the conclusion of this appointment, you will leave with your dress, beautifully tailored and ready for your special day!
